Elmer resided in Starksboro for forty years from 1880-1920. Elmer and Malah (Fielders) Wells had the following children: Mabel, Grace, Frank, Mary, Annie, Eliza, and Charles. Elmer Wells died April 2, 1930, at the age of 78, of a mitral heart lesion.
