Ronald Bauman, on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at his home in Elmira. Ron Bauman age 68 years of Elmira formerly of RR 1, West Montrose. Beloved husband and best friend of Beatrice (Bowman) Bauman for 45 years. Dear father of Lew and Kathy, Gary and Cathy all of RR1, West Montrose, Charmaine and Chris Snider of Elmira. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Josh and Jake; Hailey, Riley and Cole; Mary, Nicole, Andrew and Amanda. Brother of Mabel and Amsey Martin of RR1, Waterloo, Ruth and Melvin Weber of RR2, West Montrose, David and Jean Bauman of Lethbridge, Alberta, Ernie Bauman of Waterloo, Dorothy and Enoch Weber of Drayton. Predeceased by his parents, Alvin S. and Adeline (Martin) Bauman. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at the Elmira Mennonite Church on Friday, June 20, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steven Janzen and Pastor Renee Sauder officiating. The casket will remain open in the church until 1:45 p.m. Interment in the Elmira Mennonite Cemetery. In Ron's memory, donation to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
