Fred C. Jones, 66, of 422 N. Georgia, retired plasterer, died Thursday, January 21, 1972 at a Mason City Hospital.

Visitation is at the Patterson James Chapel after 7 p.m. Saturday and until 8 a.m. Monday and prior to the services and the church.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church in Mason City. Dr. Howard Palmer, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Cemetery. Mrs. John Hugo will be the soloist, and Mrs. John Tidball will be the organist. Mrs. John Dwyer and Mrs. Lorna Wales are in charge of flowers. Pallbearers will be John Dwyer, Jack Easley, John Callander, Lloyd Gasteiger, Richard Estal and Everett Miller.

He was born August 15, 1905 near Plymouth, the son of Bert and Barbara (Kovash) Jones. He married Mary Wise, September 21, 1935, in Mason City.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Moose Lodge.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife; three sons, Roland, Walter and Steven, all of Mason City; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Loraine) Arhart and Barbara Jones, both of LaPuente, California; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Bertha) Everhart, Richmond, California and Mrs. June Falk, Red Oak, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
