Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. C. W. Parker, Odyssey Hospice chaplain, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Plainview Cemetery in Plainview.
Mrs. Hobbs was born Sept. 8, 1917, in Richardo, N.M. On Dec. 21, 1947, she married Earl Hobbs.
Jackie had been a resident of Pampa since 1959. She was a homemaker, a member of the Blue Flame Club and was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 12, 1986; her parents; three brothers; three sisters; a son, Bert Phillips; and a great-grandson, Earl Ray Hobbs.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Wheeler and husband Ron, and Fran Daniels, all of Pampa; two sons, Weldon Hobbs and wife Vickie of Quanah, and Bob Phillips and wife Brenda of Pampa; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Dina Phillips of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters-in-law, Pansy Taylor of Centralia, Ill., and Ann Hartman of South Plains.
The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
