ANNIE GERALDINE BLACK VICKERS
1927-2008

Annie G. Vickers age 81 of Pensacola, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008. She was a Navy wife who traveled with her husband throughout his Navy career. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband, Walter P. Vickers.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Workman & son-in-law, Mikel; son, Robert P. Vickers & daughter-in-law, Teresa; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy with Pastor Steven Vickers officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17.

Miss Black Bride Of Bobby Butts

Mrs. C. R. Black of Century, announces the marriage of her daughter, Geraldine, to Bobby Butts of Miami, July 28 in Galveston, Tex.

The couple left for Arkansas on their wedding trip before going to Miami to reside. The bride was a member of the 1945 class at Century school.
