Noah J. Vessels, 74, of 8817 Williams Road, Jeffersontown, died Monday at Humana Hospital Audubon.

Native of Hardin County, a retired employee of American Standard and a member of Jeffersontown Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2127.

Survivors: his wife, the former Agnes Alvey; a son, William J. Vessels; a daughter, Elaine Mayfield; three brothers, Carlton Vessels of Hesperia, Calif., Anthony and Lawrence Vessels; two sisters, Mary Dunn of Lake Okeechobee, Fla., and Theresa McAlister; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral: St. Michael Catholic Church, 12707 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown.

Burial in St. Edward Cemetery.

Noah J. Vessels, 74, of 8817 Williams Road, Jeffersontown, died Monday [October 19, 1987] at Humana Hospital Audubon. He was a native of Hardin County, a retired employee of American Standard and a member of Jeffersontown Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2127. Survivors: his wife, the former Agnes Alvey; a son, William J. Vessels; a daughter, Elaine Mayfield; three brothers, Carlton Vessels of Hesperia, CA, Anthony & Lawrence Vessels; two sisters, Mary Dunn of Lake Okeechobee, FL, and Theresa McAlister; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, St. Michael Catholic Church, 12707 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, with burial in St. Edward Cemetery. Visitation at Foreman Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy: Kentucky Chapter of Leukemia Society of America.
