Wilma Smith Colclasure, 82, of Jacksonville, died Thursday evening, April 24, 2008, at her residence. She was born February 18, 1926 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Cree Roy and Hattie Beaney Smith. She married Clytus Colclasure in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1973.
She was survived by one niece, Jeanne (husband, Joe) Tepen and one nephew, Darrell (wife, Marilyn) Smith. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Lloyd Edward Smith and four brothers in infancy.
Mrs. Colclasure was a 1943 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She was a member of the Morgan County Saddle Club. Mrs. Colclasure raised and bred Appaloosa horses in Morgan County for many years.
Services were entrusted to Buchanan and Cody Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
