John B . Napier, Sr., 90, of 1120 Bass Road, died Friday, February 27, 2004. Memorial Services will be held at 3P.M. Monday, March 1, 2004 in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary with the Reverend Wesley Smith officiating.
Mr. Napier was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He was a graduate of Lanier High School and Georgia Tech. He was a ceramic engineer for Cherokee Brick and Tile. Mr. Napier was retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, having served in World War II. He was a member of the Macon Lion's Club and the American Legion. He was the widower of Mary Leverette Napier and the son of the late Hendley Varner Napier and the late Viola Ross Napier.
Survivors include his sons, Jack (Faye) Napier of Macon and Michael Napier of London, England; six grandchildren, John Napier, III of Macon, Gibson (Nick) Rosania of Long Valley, NJ, Brannon (Rachel) Floyd of Macon, David Napier, Laura Napier and Mark Napier all of London, England; two great-grandchildren, Carissa Rosania and Nicholas Rosania of Long Valley, NJ; and sister, Viola Murphy Neel of Macon.
