Laura Bradley Kerley, 88, of Crossville, Cumberland County, passed away Dec. 6, 1998. A funeral was held from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Big Lick Hillcrest Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 16, 1910 in White County, TN, the daughter of Margaret Elizabeth Houlette and James Harrison Bradley.

Mrs. Kerley was a homemaker, and she was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church (USA) of the Big Lick community. She moved with her family to Cumberland County as a baby, and she resided in the Homesteads community for the last 46 years of her life.

Survivors included her daughter and son-in-law, Gwendolyn Ann and Glen E. Norris of Crossville; granddaughters and their husbands, Lachelle Norris and Paul Jacobson of Jackson, TN, and Laura E. and Lafayette Gwin of Crossville; sisters, Dora Burgess and Nellie Rhea, both of Crossville; brother, Beecher Bradley of Warren, MI; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and James Bradley; husband, Leslie A. Kerley; brothers and sisters, Esther Bradley, Louise Lillian Coots, and May Burgess, and William, Charles, Lee Thomas, Elmo, Martin and Wesley Bradley.

Pallbearers were Pete Bradley, John Shanks, Johnny Shanks, Stan Rhea, Jimmy Rhea and Oliver Blaylock.

Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
