Dora Nancy Ann Bradley Burgess, 99, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 14, 2003. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 14 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Big Lick Cemetery. The Rev. Pete Ullmann and the Rev. Mike Smathers officiated.
Mrs. Burgess was born June 9, 1904 in White County, TN, the daughter of James Harrison Bradley and Margaret Elizabeth Houlett Bradley.
She was a school teacher and member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church of Big Lick.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Bradley of Crossville; daughter, Carol Barker of Nashville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Nellie Rhea of Crossville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Estille Burgess; and son, Billy Lee Burgess.
Pallbearers were Beau Barker, Butch Burgess, Larry Bradley, Oliver Blaylock, Stan Rhea, Pete Bradley, Lynn Tollett and John Barker.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
