James Ray "Jamie" Kellems Jr. 26, Battletown, died Thurs. Aug 31, 1995 at Harrison Co. Hospital in Corydon, IN suddenly.
He was born Aug. 6, 1969 in Hardinsburg, a son of Sherry Hartley Kellems and the late James Ray Kellems Sr. Jamie was employed by Riverside Stone Co. in Battletown.
Mr Kellems is survived by his mother, Sherry Hartley Kellems, Battletown, one sister, Lisa Kellems, Battletown, grandparents; Dorothy Kellems, Brandenburg, Mr & Mrs Frank (Benny Rhea) Hartley Andyville; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sun. Sept. 3 at the Chapel of the Allexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Parr Cemetery in Meade Co. directed by the Alexander Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Bobby Hartley, Mike Hartley, Tommy Vessels, Denny Redmon, Jerry Trent, Brian Ory, Kenny Jenkins, David Johnston, John Johnston, Kyle Demmer.
Honorary pallbearers were Matt Ashmore, Bill Herbaugh, Van Kelly Crawford, Richard Way, Ray Whited, Jimmy Hardesty, Johnny Hardesty and Jack Hardesty.
