Harold David Gill, 91 died January 12, 1993 in Bountiful, Utah, after a long and healthy life.

He was born October 22, 1901, in Indiana, to Eugene George and Bertha Speckman Gill. He attended elementary schools in Oregon and Washington and high school in Indianapolis. He then returned to Oregon to complete his degree in electrical engineering at Oregon State University. He worked for Westinghouse Electrical Company and Union Switch and Signal Company in Pittsburgh, and the Rural Electric Administration and Indianapolis Power and Light Company in Indianapolis.

He married Myrintha Burningham on June 27, 1937 in Bountiful, Utah, where the couple subsequently made their home. He worked as an electrical engineer and draftsman for Utah Power and Light Company, retiring as chief distribution engineer in 1968.

He was a member of the Masonic Order for 60 years. He retained a life-time membership in Orient Lodge 590 F. & A.M. in Wilkensburg, Penn. and remained active in the Scottish Rite and as a Shriner at the Elkanah Temple in Salt Lake City.

He is survived by his sons, James D. and John H.; and grandson, Anthony D. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrintha, his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 1993 at 1 p.m., at Russian Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call 11:00 - 12:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.

As an alternative to flowers, contributions would be welcome to the Shriner's Hospital, SLC.
