REIDSVILLE - Walter Wesley Underwood, 47, died Thursday (June 12) at Evergreen Nursing Center.
A memorial service was held by the family at 4:00 PM Saturday (June 14) at Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Reidsville, he was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Philmon Horace and Frances Moore Underwood and by his brothers: Philmon Horace Underwood Jr and Buddy Matthews.
Surviving are Sisters: Carol Childrey (Wayne), Cathy Underwood, and Michelle Underwood all of Reidsville, Wanda Matthews of Roxboro; Brothers: Robbie Underwood (Brenda) and Michael Matthews (Chris) all of Tenn.
