Kenneth Dean Boyd
Kenneth Dean Boyd, 63, of Riceville, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at his residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Riceville, he retired from TVA after 24 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Nina Womac Boyd of Riceville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Sheila Boyd of Athens, and Jimmy and Michelle Boyd and Tracy and Cathy Boyd, all of Riceville; three grandchildren, Amber,
Ashley and Gabe Boyd; his parents, Paul and Ruby Blackwell Boyd of Riceville; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Helen Boyd of Athens; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Floyd Vincent and Diane and Junior King, all of Riceville.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ollie Lankford officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Oak
Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Vincent, Daniel and Camus Crisp, Danny Crass, Bruce Martin and Lynn Colbaugh. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Chamberlin and Butch Sims.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ziegler Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
