CAMERON — Funeral services for Donald Louis Beyer Sr., 70, of Beaumont were held Thursday, June 5, 2008, in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Billy Crow officiating. Burial followed in North Elm Cemetery.
Mr. Beyer died Monday, June 2, in a Beaumont nursing facility following an illness.
He was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Houston to Paul and Frances Augustus Beyer.
Mr. Beyer was a Lamar University graduate and a retired senior project engineer for Exxon-Mobil.
Survivors are his wife, Patsy Beyer of Beaumont; a son, Donald L. Beyer Jr. and wife Shirley of Laredo; a daughter, Kelli Beyer and friend Rebecca Johnson of Victoria; a sister, Shirley Curry of Houston; and three grandchildren, Christian, Justin and Tyler Beyer, all of Laredo.
