Robert (Bob) Shelby Martinez Native 1914 - 2008 Martinez native and near-lifelong resident, Bob Shelby, peacefully passed away on April 30, 2008 at the age of 94 with family at his side. Resident of Eugene, Oregon since 2000; Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Willie "Bill" Shelby, his daughter, Bobby Jean Youell, and numerous family members. All are most certainly enjoying the sweetest of reunions today. Bob is survived by his daughters, Carol Peterson and Sharon Hendricks, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bob's life at Oakmont Mortuary, Lafayette, California on May 8 at 2:00 p.m., with interment immediately following.
