She was a lovely and giving person. Always remembered to send a card at Christmas, birthdays and other holidays to friends and family. She had a husky voice from staining it as a singer when she was a young woman. She played and taught piano all the years of her life. Played with one hand only after a stroke in her 60's. She was paralyzed for several years after a 2nd stroke.She was about five feet six inches tall, of mediaum weight all her adult life and had a rich thick brown shade of hair. She dressed in the latest fashion. Her home was fasionable and her cookie jar was always full. I was her only niece and showered with love and gifts as a child. She made each of my children a baby blanket, carefully hand embroidered. "I miss you so, Aunt Oste"
