Mr. M.L. Wood, Jr. (Junior), age 75, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born March 10, 1933 in Adairsville, GA and moved to this area from Miami in 1965. He was a carpenter and an Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morrell and Ethel Wood, wife, Margaret Vivian Wood in 1994 and brother Royce Wood.
He is survived by his children, Fred L. Wood (Freddie), David Wood and Kimberly Batterson, 5 brothers, Banister, Eddie, Jimmy, Edward and Ronnie Wood, and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 11 AM in the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside committal following.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
EASTERN GATE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME is in charge of the arrangements.
