A memorial service for Gloria De Herrera was held at 10 am July 7, 2007 at Sacred Heart Church in Alamosa, Colo. Gloria passed away Nov. 11, 2006 in Denver, Colo. She was born and raised in Espinoza, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Marina De Herrera; brothers Amanda, Leo, O.D., and her sister Angelica Martinez. She is survived by sisters Casilda De Herrera, Aurora Winchester and Ernestine (Gerald) Mercier, all of Alamosa, along with many nieces and nephews.
Following her wishes, Gloria was cremated. Burial was at the La Jara Cemetery after the mass.
