Funeral service for Mrs. Lillie M. Hayes was conducted Sunday, July 27, 1980 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Hart officiated.

Mrs. Hayes was born on August 30, 1894 in Dyersburg, Tenn., and died July 23, 1980 in Tucson, Ariz., at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late George and Bamma Williams.
She was a long-time resident of braggadocio, but had made her home with her son and daughter for the last 19 years.

Ms. Hayes leaves two daughters: Mrs. Louise Inman of Tucson and Mrs. Hazel James of Hayti; one son, Edward Turner of Tucson; two sisters, Lavern Hawks and Betty Gable, both of Dyersburg; three brothers: Billy Orchard and Jimmy Williams, all of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren and ? great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Earl David Powers, Larry Inman, Raymond Baker, David Bond, Grady Inman, and Earl Sam Powers.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville.
Mrs. Hayes was born Aug. 30, 1984, in Dyersburg, the daughter of the late George and Bama Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise Inman of Tucson; a son, Edward of Tucson; three brothers, Richard, Billy, and Jimmy of Dyersburg; two sisters, Betty Gable and Lavern Hawke; grandchildren, Frances Jean Powers, Jerry Atchison, Kenneth James, Tommy and Larry Inman, Carolyn Webb, and Patricia Kabbar; great-grandchildren, Teresia Jo Bond, Earl David and Lehman Powers, Frankie James, Debbie and Jerry Wayne Atchison, Lisa and Curtis Webb II, Angela, Beth, and Kim Inman, Janeen and Nabeel Kabbara; and one great-great-grandchild, Tracey Nicole Bond.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny, Arthur, George, and Charlie. She was also preceded in death by a son, Turner, who was killed in action during World War II.
