Macie P. Rucker Estep, 91, of Elkview died March 31, 2004, in Heartland of Charleston after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 16, 1912, at Elkview, daughter of the late Jonah F. and Minervia E. Purdue Rucker. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Nona Estep and Delbert Estep; son, Calvin W. Estep; sister, Dorcie Huffman; and brothers, Hurley and Emmor Rucker.

She was a member of Jordan Light Baptist Church, Elkview, and a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Alice and Gary Truman of Elkview; son, Ralph B. Estep of Elkview; and brothers, the Rev. Omar Rucker of Charleston, Denver Rucker of Elkview.

Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Jordan Light Baptist Church, Elkview, with the Rev. Omar Rucker officiating. Burial will be in the Rucker Cemetery, Elkview.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin.
