Denver M. Rucker, Sr. 90, of Elkview passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in CAMC General Hospital.
Denver was a member of Leatherwood Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Army veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post 61, Clendenin.
He retired from Dupont with 35 years service. He truly enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, bowling and looking for ginseng.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Rucker; parents, Jona and Elizabeth Perdue Rucker; infant daughter, Linda Jean; grandson, Jason Rucker; brothers, Herley and Emmor Rucker; step-son, John Carte.
