CALDWELL—A heart attack claimed the life of William Harrison Blunt, 71, well known Caldwell creamery man and resident, Sunday. He resided here since 1914, coming to Caldwell from Spokane, Wash.
He was born in Fayette county, Iowa, October 19, 1865. He entered the creamery business at Maynard, Iowa, when 18 years of age. He moved to Spokane in 1906 to become field superintendent for the Hazelwood company. Eight years later he moved to Caldwell to represent that company in this district.
Surviving are his wife and three children, Floyd H. Blunt of Caldwell, Harold U. Blunt of Pasadena, Cal., and Florence Conklin of Dixie; three brothers, George of Colorado Springs, Albert of Oelwein, Iowa, and Raymond of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Clara Hanna of North Dakota, and seven grandchildren.
The body is at Peckham's. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Presbyterian church, and interment will be in Canyon Hill cemetery.
