Graveside services for Florence Kathleen Conklin, 83, of Caldwell, who died Saturday, Nov. 30, in a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
Dr. Donald H. Frank of the Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church, Caldwell, will officiate. Services are under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Conklin was born Dec. 20, 1901, at Terril, Iowa, to W.H. and Florence Blunt. At an early age, she moved with her family to Spokane, Wash. After her education in Washington, she moved to Caldwell, where she worked for her father at the Hazelwood Creamery.
She married Hubert "Bud" Conklin on March 8, 1922, at Caldwell. They farmed in the Dixie Community and later moved to the Marble Front area. Mr. Conklin died Feb. 5, 1964.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorel (Mrs. Harold) McFarland of Nampa, and Shareen (Mrs. Robert) Price of LaGrande, Ore.; a granddaughter, Linda Mark of Baker, Ore.; a grandson Kent Price of LaGrande, and two great-granddaughters, Danette and Dana Mark, both of Baker, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, today from 2 to 9 p.m.
