Born in Limestone Co., AL, to Alexander Benjamin and Elizabeth Reeves SEale,Jeremiah married Elizer Lina Jackson (daughter of Joseph and Delilah Cooper Jackson) on 7/27/1848 in what was at the time Greene County, ALabama. Jeremiah was a veteran of the Mexican American war leaving Greensboro on or about 5/1846. He also served in the Voluntary Militia in the Civil War and served for 90 days without pay. He was a planter/farmer in and around present day Hale County raising at least 11 children. He died at the age of 87 years.
