Eugene E. Cole, 84, former resident of Miller, dies
A former resident of Miller, Eugene E. Cole, 84, died last Saturday at Yoder, Wyo., according to word received here. Mr. Cole, a retired blachsmith, died suddenly at the home of his son, Albert.
Born at Detroit, Mich., Mr. Cole lived in Miller for 20 years, prior to moving to Hastings, and later to Glendo, Wyo.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Jane; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Jane Stevens, Gould, Colo., Mrs. Fannie Belle Mauk, Highlandville, Mo., and Mrs. Ada Lulu Christman, Stromsburg; three sons, Elvin A. of Douglas, Wyo., Albert, and William of Mitchell; a sister Mrs. Ada Murray, Detroit, Mich.; a brother Robert of Los Angeles; 34 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Henry B. Bondurant, pastor of the Baptist Church. Interment was in Torrington, Wyo.
