Obituary - North Okanogan County Gazette-Tribune (Oroville) - Page 2, Thursday, August 23, 1990: "Delbert S. Jennings -- Service for Delbert S. Jennings, 82, of Oroville was held Saturday, August 18, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bergh Chapel in Oroville, Kevin Eberhardt officiating. Interment followed at the Oroville Riverview Cemetery.
Mr. Jennings was born February 1, 1908 at Brown Branch, Missouri. He grew up and attended school in Taney County, Missouri, and in 1940 moved to the Oroville area to be closer to his sister and to seek employment. In 1945 he supervised German war prisoners who worked in the apple industry. On September 14, 1945 he married Velma Seyler in Walla Walla. He continued to manage apple orchards for Oliver Balmes and the Clark Orchards for several years. In 1964 he managed a service station in Oroville until his retirement in 1971. He was a born again Christian of the Pentecostal faith and was baptised (sic) in Missouri.
Delbert passed away on Monday, August 13, 1990 at the North Valley Hospital in Tonasket. He was preceded in death by two brothers, parents and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Velma, at home in Oroville; one son, Delbert Dennis Jennings of Wenatchee; two daughters Deanne Lee Fuller of Seattle and Kary Jennings (Clark) of Olympia; one sister, Doris Cushman of Apple Valley, California; and five grandchildren.

The Bergh Funeral Service of Oroville was in charge of arrangements."
