Dr. Buck Winchell, 69, our beloved husband, father, brother and grand-father passed away Friday, June 8, 2007. A resident of Scottsdale, he was originally from Denver, CO. Buck was a loving, compassionate, optimistic, humble, faith-filled teacher, leader and friend who was devoted to his family and committed to making this world a better place. He spent his professional career as a manager and engineer for Motorola. During his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, spending time with family and riding his horse, Cheyenne. He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 43 years, Chris, children Sheila (Wade) Pettit, Kim (Scott) Ritter, Darin (Laurie) Winchell, Valerie Winchell and Alan Winchell, a brother, Lyle Winchell, and his adoring grandchildren Dylan, Austin, Travis, Audra, Sierra, Buckley, Colton, Shaylee, Taylor and Ashlyn. A celebration of his life will take place at 6:00 PM on Wed., June 13 at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8050 E. Mountain View Rd., Scottsdale.
