Helen Louise "Mickey" Boschet, 83, of Columbia City, died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at North Ridge Village Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albion, where she had resided since Nov. 14, 2007.
Born in Eaton on Nov. 3, 1924, a daughter of Harold R. and Mary E. (Long) Lineback, she attended Warren, Dunkirk and Albany School systems.
A former resident of Dunkirk, Warren and Eaton, she moved to Columbia City in 1944.
The Rev. Graham L. Kleespie married Helen and Franklin Leonard Boschet on Nov. 3, 1945 at the Evangelical United Brethern Church parsonage.
She worked at Caswell in Huntington and Weatherhead in 1946 and Schuman Bowling Lanes from 1973 to 1988.
Her memberships included VFW Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary 1906, both in Columbia City. She was a former member of Channel 19 Horizontal Club and the Maumee Valley Club.
In 1970, she received her bowling coaching license and became the Junior League bowling at Schuman Lanes and a 4-H bowling coach. An avid bingo player and a country-western fan, she was inducted into the Columbia City Bowling Hall of Fame in 2007.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Kay Boschet and Hope M.(Clarence) Hyndman, both of Columbia City; two grandsons; three great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Dorothea) Lineback of Lakewood, Calif.; a niece and nephew and close friends Vern and Cindy LaRue of Columbia City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Donald Hugh Lineback.
