Don J. Skinner, 70, died December 9, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born January 17, 1922 in Provo, Utah to Don Jess Skinner Sr. and Ruby Daisy Carter. Married Rosa Kirkman, Nov. 2, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, November 2, 1955. High Priest in the Madison Ward, Sunday School superintendent, Statistical clerk, member Elders Quorum presidency and home teacher. Don was an avid fisherman. He loved country music. He played the guitar and enjoyed singing and yodeling.
Survived by wife, Rosa; children, Robert (Susan) Skinner, Charles Skinner, Suzanne (Delwin) Price, and Marijoy (Fred) Boltz; 11 grandchildren; sister, Janice (Mickey) Young. Preceded in death by mother, father and sister, Dorothy Skinner Grange.
Funeral services will he held Saturday, Dec. 12, 1992, 12 noon, Madison Ward, 2700 South 300 East. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. Colonial Mortuary, 2128 South State St., and Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
