OBITUARY:
Mrs. Lankford
FAIRFAX -- Mrs. Agnes Yates Lankford, 78, of Fairfax died this morning at Lanier Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. James Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfax Cemetery.
Mrs. Lankford is survived by two sons, Thomas Denver Yates, of Pensacola, Fla., and Time Yates of Fairfax; six daughters, Mrs. Macy Pouncey of Bay Minette, Mrs. Florence Snyder of Halifax, Penn., Mrs. Fay Moore of Selma, Mrs. Betty Fulghum of Lanett, Mrs. Ann Flores of Youngstonw, Ohio and Mrs. Sharon McNail of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Hammonce of Morrow, Ga., and Mrs. Minnie Lou Brannn of Thomaston, Ga.; one brother Dovard Germany of Lanett; 32 grandchldren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lankford was a native of Tallapoosa County and a member of the Fairfax Church of the Nazarene.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9:00 at the funeral home chapel.
Johnson Brown-Service Funral Home of Langdale is handling the arrangements.
