Rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the McCauley funeral home, Mason City, Iowa for Columbus O. Brown, 85, of Mason City, who died Sunday evening.
Born at Rockport, he was a son of the late John and Mary McWilliams Brown.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carrie Archer Brown; three sons Robert, Jack and James Brown, all of Mason City; daughters Mrs. Mary Ellen Johnson, Omaha, Neb. and Mrs. Barbara Boggs, Cedar Falls, Iowa; three brothers Clyde L. and Thomas Brown, St. Petersburg, Fla.; C.B. Brown, Parkersburg, and one sister, Mrs. C.C. Pfalzgraf, Rockport, WV.
