Minnie Kolkmeier, 85, of 2901 Everett Ave., died at a local hospital early Monday following an extended illness. Mrs. Kolkmeier was born in St. Charles, Missouri, May 30, 1875 and had resided in Everett for the past 40 years. Surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. Maxine Twiggs of 1611 23rd St.; a grandson, Robert Klepper of 5325 2nd St.; four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be announced later from the funeral home of Purdy and Walters.

Minnie was born Wilhelmina Sophia Dickbernd in St. Charles, Missouri, the daughter of Herman Henry Dickbernd and Katherine Maria Freese. She married George Andreas Kolkmeier 10 Jan. 1900 at St. John's United Church of Christ in St. Charles, Missouri. To this union were born two daughters, Alma Maira and Linda Pauline Kolkmeier.
