Mrs. Nettie M. Raymer, 89, a resident of Maple Manor Nursing Home for the last eight months, died Monday.

Prior to her residence at the nursing home, she resided with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene M. Raymer, 2602 Valley Creek Road.

She was born in Delaware County, Iowa, on April 21, 1879, a daughter of James and Martha Montgomery Arbuckle. She was married to E. Eugene Raymer at Seattle, Wash., on September 29, 1909.

She attended Iowa State College, Cedar Falls, Iowas, and taught school in that area. She held business positions in Chicago and Seattle until her marriage.

Following her marriage, she and her husband came to Fond du Lac in October 1909 where her husband pioneered in the auto business.

Mrs. Raymer was active in church affairs for many years and women's and civic organizations. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. She was the last member of her family.

Survivors include one son, Eugene M.; two daughters, Mrs. J.J. Rock of Vestal, N.Y. and Mrs. A.W. Cole of Midland Tex.; eight grandchildren and three great-children. her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1964.
