C.F. (FRANK) ROWLAND, age 85, of Rt. 2 Athens, Tenn. died Monday morning, January 25th, at his residence.
Mr. Rowland was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nora Scarbrough Rowland; one daughter, Mrs. Janice McRee of Clemson, S. Carolina; two sons, Herman Rowland of Garden Prairie, Ill. and Howard Rowland of Etowah; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Gentry of Athens, Mrs. Villa Liner of Chattanooga; one brother, Thomas Rowland of Etowah; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. today in Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Lonnie Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
