Psalm 42:1. Rabbits, opossums, deer and other wildlife would often take refuge in my friend Cathy's backyard, knowing they would find food, water and a place to rest for awhile in relative safety. She had a special way with these animals -- an almost instinctive type of communication that had earned her the nickname, "Mrs. Doolittle". (Photo by R. Eaton)

The original to this pic of one of Cathy's rabbits (quietly drifting off to dreamland with a stuffed toy lamb!) was originally taken with a low-resolution cellphone camera, with a heavy tungsten cast from the indoor lighting. I chose to sacrifice some contrast and detail for a more accurate color rendering.
