She was the daughter of Louisa Amanda (Rose) and Rev. Henry Clay Baldwin. She relocated with them to Neosho County Kansas from Blackford County, Indiana in 1877. They settled in Centerville Township, Neosho County, Kansas. She grew up there. She married Charles S. Clark of the St. Paul community on Nov 12, 1902 in Neosho County. They became the parents of five children: Lloyd Baldwin Clark, Fred Clark, Cleora (female), Alva H. (male) and Leonard Arthur Clark.

Her husband was a pharmacist and she was a homemaker. They lived most of their married lives in Lincoln, Neosho County, Kansas.
