The body of George Appenzellar, who died at his home in Port Orange, Fla., last Oct. 15, was brought here for burial yesterday. Short funeral services were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Goodwin undertaking parlors. Rev. E. W. Dunlavy officiated, and interment was made in Green Lawn cemetery.

Mr. Appenzeller resided in Frankfort a number of years, following his trade of tinner. About 20 years ago he purchased an orange grove near Port Orange and spent his winters there. He died last October, and his body was kept in a vault at Daytona until Sunday.

Mr. Appenzellar was a veteran of the Civil war. His former comrades served as pallbearers.
