LAZICKI, Edward J, 93, of John's Island, SC, former resident of Hanahan, died Monday, March 22, 2004 at a local hospital. He was born May 11, 1910 in New York, New York. He was the son of Theodore and Sophia Szielawa Lazicki. His wife Jessie Beard Graham Lazicki preceded him in death in 1986. Edward was a retired planner and estimator for the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a life long member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union #421. He will be sadly missed by his family including: two daughters: Ann Graham McGinnis of Johns Island, and Patti Lazicki Blitch and husband, Robert, of Johns Island; one son: Theodore Lazicki and wife, Glenda, of Charleston; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons: David G. Graham in 1991 and Joseph C. Lazicki in 1970. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation from 12:00 Noon until 1:30PM, Thursday, March 25, 2004, at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 150 Wentworth St. A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, March 25, 2004 at the mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery, James Island. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Condolences may be sent to the family via www.mcalister-smith.com.
