Earle is the son of John Evan and Elizabeth (Primmer) Brame. He married Esther Coffey on May 24, 1930 in Decatur. They had three children: Mary (Koonce), Karen (Raiha) and Robert E Brame. Earle and Esther rented a farm near Milmine, IL and moved there in March 1931. In 1934 they moved ten miles south to a farm in Moultrie County and lived there six years. Th Moultrie County farm was sold and in 1940 they moved to the John Rogers farm in Austin Township, Macon County, IL. Earle retired from farming in 1967.

Earle E. Brame, 75, of Warrensburg died 3:10 p.m. Sunday (May 22, 1983) in Fair Havens Christian Home. - Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with 8 p.m. Masonic rites. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.
Mr. Brame was born in Piatt County, son of John Evan and Elizabeth Brame. He was a retired farmer, a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church, Warrensburg Masonic Lodge 959 AF&AM and Springfield -Consistory. He married Esther L. Coffey in 1930.
Surviving are his wife; son, Robert E. of Warrensburg; daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Mary) Koonce of Illiopolis; Mrs. Arnold (Karen) Raiha of Decatur; brothers, Everett of Corona, Calif.; Ralph of Lakewood, Colo.; sister, Edythe Weddle of Cisco; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. '' One brother preceded him in death.
