YORK - Ada F. Adams, 90, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at her home. She was the wife of the late Russell H. Adams.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion United Church of Christ, 100 Lafayette St., York, with her Interim Pastor, the Rev. David R. Goode, officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Adams was born December 14, 1917, in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Clinton A. and Beulah M. (Bowser) Dubbs, and step-daughter of the late Grace E. (Welty) Buser Dubbs.
She leaves two sons, Richard L. Adams and David W. Adams, both of York; five grandchildren; a sister, Marie Franz of Havre de Grace Md.; and five brothers, Lloyd A. Dubbs of Riverside, Calif., Rodger F. Dubbs of Michigan, and Preston J. Dubbs, Stuart E. Dubbs, and Francis E. Dubbs, all of Avon Park, Fla.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Clinton Dubbs and Harold W. Dubbs.
