Jean C. Baker, of Bellflower, died yesterday at a local hospital. She became ill in October while visiting a son in Pocatello, Idaho and was transferred to a Fresno hospital November 25. Mrs. Baker was born in Creek Indian Nation near Stroud, Oklahoma Territory. Survivors are her husband, William, of the home; sons, Linwood Baker of Fresno, Jack Baker of Freedom, Oklahoma, and James Baker of Pocatello, Idaho; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at White Funeral Home in Bellflower. Burial will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. Lisle Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
