Mrs. Nora Berkebile, 70, of Kantner, died January 22 in the Somerset Community Hospital, a daughter of the late Abraham and Annie Shaulis Pletcher. She was born September 23, 1902 in Trent; preceded in death by her husband Steward in 1954, seven brothers and sisters; survived by the following children: Ceylon of Stoystown RD 2; William S. of Kantner; Mrs. Elma Pugh, Listie; Ralph of Stoystown RD 3; and Victor E. of Perkasie; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister of Abraham Pletcher of Altoona, William of Markleton, Mrs. Annie close, Ontario, Canada, and Mrs. Emma Miller of Somerset. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Kantner. Friends are being received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. J. R. Peterson officiating with interment in the Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur.
