Mr. Guynes was a lifelong resident of Crystal Springs. He served in the US Navy in WW II. He retired from Jackson Coca-Cola Bottling Co. after 32 years of service as a salesman. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs.
Services were 10 AM Nov. 7 at First Baptist Church with burial in Crystal Springs cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife, Mae Guynes of Crystal Springs; son, Gary Guynes of Crystal Springs; daughter, Linda Channell of Crystal Springs; bother, GW Guynes of Jackson; and 4 grandchildren.
