"When a small girl she moved to this county with her parents and until fifteen years ago, lived at Lowell. She was the daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret Shuster.
Thirty-nine years ago she was united in marriage to Ai Vaughn, who died about 15 years ago. Following his death, Mrs. Vaughn moved to Marietta and had since made her home here. She had been a lifelong member of the M.E. church, joining in Lowell and transferring to the First church of this city when she moved here.
She is survived by one son and four daughters. They are: Mina and Carrie, at home, Charles A. Vaughn, of Marietta, Mrs. Gertrude Williams, of Akron, and Mrs. Effie Sutherland, of Beverly.
She is also survived by two grandchildren and 5 sisters and brothers. The sisters and brothers are: Mrs. Tillie Farly, Utica, Ohio; Mrs. James Harlow, Lowell; Mrs. Susan Bell, of West Marietta; John and Isaiah Shuster of Hardin county."
