Ab & Anna lived in the Fargo community located about 10 miles north of Vernon, TX.
Ab & Anna moved into Vernon sometime in the very late 1930's, or around 1940. Per Leroy Henry, Robt. Leo's best friend, said that Ab was a crack shot with a rifle. He remembered one time they were sitting on the front porch of their house in Fargo and when a rabbit ran out across the way, Ab pulled up his rifle and picked off the rabbit with one shot.
