Agnes Tyler Bland, 83, of Ladson, wife of Joseph Frank Bland, entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2006 at a local hospital.
Born May 3, 1923 in Loris, SC; the daughter of the late John H. Tyler and Mary Roberts Tyler. Mrs. Bland was a housewife. She was a member of the Tall Pines Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Joseph Frank Bland of Ladson; one daughter, Doris B. Nettles and husband Don of Ladson; one son, Jerry Lee Cooper of Florida; four sisters, Grace Tyler of Loris, SC, Louevenia Flower of Loris, SC, Cecil Godwin and husband James of Charlotte, NC, and Zelda Cline of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Jerry Cooper of Florida, Jarold Cumbee of Ladson, and Natalie Davidson and husband John of Ladson; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Trenton Cumbee, Brandon and Taylor Cooper, Ashlee, Cameron, and Cooper Davidson.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2006, 3 p.m. at Tall Pines Baptist Church, 645 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC. Burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.
