OBITUARY - ALTOONA RUSTLER, MARCH 21, 1890

DIED - Willie Arrowood, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Arrowood, Wednesday, at 10 o'clock p.m. The parents have the sympathy of the entire community.

OBITUARY - ALTOONA HERALD, MARCH 28, 1890

The funeral of Willie Arrowood was from the Christian Church Friday at 10 a.m. and the remains were interred in the cemetery one mile east of Altoona. Rev. B.O. Aylesworth assisted by Ref. L. Jean, conducted the services which were attended by a great number of people - friends and relatives of the family and school-mates of the deceased. Willie was born and raised in Polk Co. He was sick but a week before his death, which was both sudden and unexpected. The doctors pronounced it the result of dropsy of the lungs.
