Joseph C. Munk

Manti - Joseph C. Munk, 82, local stockraiser and farmer, died Friday at his residence.

Mr. Munk was born January 30, 1855, in Manti, where he had resided the greater part of his life. He had been active in local civic affairs. November 14, 1884, he married Elizabeth Crawford in the Logan L. D. S. temple.

He is survived by his widow; a son, James Carlyle Munk; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Josephine Beason, Ogden, and Mrs. LaRue Walker, Pleasant Grove; three brothers, Peter, Christian and Ernest Munk, Manti.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. in the Manti L. D. S. ward chapel. Bishop Alma Peterson will officiate.

Burial will be in Manti City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the residence Monday evening and Tuesday prior to services.
