Woman Found In Lake

SPRINGDALE, Ark., — Washington County authorities were investigating the apparent drowning Saturday of a Springdale woman.

The body of Mrs. Chloe Ann Hollenbeck, 58, was found in the rear seat of her car, about 300 yards from the west shore of Beaver Lake, just south of the Benton - Washington County line Saturday morning. She had been reported missing since Friday.

Authorities said Mrs. Hollenbeck's body was in the rear seat of the submerged auto, and the keys for the car were found in her purse. The death was still under investigation Saturday night, and no definite ruling had been made as to the exact cause of death.

Mrs. Hollenback, who lived at 620 Maple Dr. here, was born at Aurora, Ark., on Nov. 11, 1914, and lived in Springdale most of her life.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, Carlton Hollenbeck; a son, James W. Spencer, Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Kay Adkins, Fayetteville, Ark., and Miss Charol Ann Spencer, of the home; her mother, Mrs. Dovie McKnight, Springdale; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements will be announced by the Sisco Funeral Home here.
